Giveaway From Hallmark Coppin's Gifts ~ DaVinci Bracelet with 4 DaVinci Beads of Choice ~Ends 5/27
So I know you have probably all seen those cute bracelets with
the charm beads by now. They seem to be everywhere.
They are the new form of charm bracelets and can be customized to your personal
preference. Some of the ones out there are pretty stinkin expensive though, and while they
are pretty, they are just not in my stay at home budget these days.
The solution:
The DaVinci Toggle Bracelet with DaVinci Beads from Hallmark Coppin's Gifts.
Isn't it adorable? I think so, in fact the one I received is one of my favorite bracelets. Not only
because I picked the exact beads I wanted, but because each of my current beads
represents each of my four children. Also, they are so affordable,
that I can add more at any time without breaking the bank.
They sell various different options for you to show off your DaVinci Beads
such as:
the toggle bracelet as pictured above

This is the type of closure I have and was a bit worried at first that it wouldn't be secure enough to stay on my wrist, but it has not given me any major problems. From day to day wear it has held on, so to speak, and it has only fallen off once or twice when I was doing laundry or something that has flexed the bracelet(giving the toggle the chance to slip through). So I simply don't wear it when doing laundry now :)
It also comes in the claw clasp
as well as a key chain option
a necklace
earrings
and a bangle bracelet option
These pictures give you an idea of the selection of beads you can choose from too.
But to find exactly what you want be sure to take a look at the entire selection HERE
Hallmark Coppin's Gifts is offering my readers a FREE bead when you purchase four,
just enter the code
FREEDAVINCI
when ordering to get your fifth bead free. There's no expiration to this code, and you can use it for several orders. Great to keep in mind for graduation gifts, birthdays, and holidays!
So now onto the giveaway!
Hallmark Coppin's Gifts is giving one of my lucky readers a
DaVinci Toggle Bracelet plus FOUR DaVinci Beads of your choice!
Enter using the Rafflecopter form below. Lots of easy entries, so enter now & tell your friends :)
Good Luck!
~Iffy~
A special thank you to Hallmark Coppin's Gifts for sponsoring this giveaway.
All opinions are 100% mine and honest. I was provided a DaVinci Toggle Bracelet and four DaVinci Beads for review.

Giveaway For 2 Full Sized Bottles of ENJOY Professionals Luxury Hair Care Products
Does your hair need a little help or repair from the harsh effects of coloring your hair, the elements, alcohol based hair care products, or just need a break from all of the sulfates found in most hair products?
Then you need to try ENJOY Luxury Hair Care Products which are sulfate free
and ph balanced.
I have been bleaching & coloring my hair again for the past 6 months(after a long break, 4 years to be exact pre & post pregnancies and just sheer lack of time to do it).
So getting back into bleaching(my natural black-brown hair) to a light blonde(and various pastel shades along the process), I forgot how harsh these chemicals are to the hair and scalp. After bleaching, you are supposed to use a ph balanced shampoo to help neutralize the bleach, which I typically hardly ever did.
Until I discovered ENJOY.
I have never had a shampoo or conditioner make my hair feel as soft and healthy, as I do after using the ENJOY Luxury Duo. My hairdresser always says how strong and healthy my hair is, partly because it is thick but also because I have been using ENJOY Luxury shampoo & conditioner.
My scalp is not nearly as itchy after bleaching, and my color lasts a whole lot longer than
if I used a big name shampoo bought at the drugstore.
Why sulfate free, you ask?
Well sulfates are typically added to most shampoo & body wash because it is inexpensive. It
is used as a detergent or degreaser, but it is found to dry out the hair and skin, and can even cause irritation.
Why use ph balanced and stable hair care products?
I'll let the experts explain-

Why use ph balanced and stable hair care products?
I'll let the experts explain-
"ENJOY knows that pH balanced and
stable products are key for optimum hair color retention. Human skin and hair
resides in the pH 4.5-5.5 range, but most products on the market are pH 7 or
greater. In addition to leaving the hair feeling dry and brittle, the higher pH
in these products raises the cuticle and causes hair color to fade shampoo
after shampoo. This isn’t the case with ENJOY. To provide long lasting color
and complement hair’s natural pH balance, they work hard to insure that their
products are pH 4.5-6.0. They also conduct extensive bake tests on the line to
guarantee pH stability."
So now are you ready to experience hair care like you have never before?
One lucky Stay At Home Nation reader(with a valid US mailing address)
will win 2 two full sized bottles of the ENJOY Luxury line.
1 10oz bottle of ENJOY Luxury Shampoo-

This rich cleansing formula can also be used as a luxurious skin wash. Although recommended for all hair types, it’s perfect to smooth and control heavy, coarse or curly hair."
One 10oz bottle of ENJOY Luxury Conditioner-
"leaves hair soft, controllable and smooth. Silk protein and cetyl esters work to smooth, repair and seal damaged cuticle. This rich conditioning treatment can also be used for moisturizing the skin or shaving."

Revolt Blogger ~ Week 10 ~ Customize Your Revolt Workouts
If you're like me, you're not big on working out, but revolt has changed my outlook on that. It's more so that I don't know what I'm doing or what would be the most effective work out for my problem area. When I started Revolt 10 weeks ago I had no idea the names of certain exercises, or how heavy of a weight I should use. I didn't know correct form and I didn't know how many reps I needed it was all just so confusing to me. I didn't know who to ask and didn't have the money to spend on a personal trainer. You've heard me talk about Nicole Huntsman's program, Revolt for many reasons because it really does work. Not only does she have daily videos showing you what work out to do for that day and what body part you're working on, but now she's added three levels of difficulty to choose from. Level one is beginner, level two is intermediate, and level three is advanced. If you are new to exercising or just starting on the Revolt program, you should start out at level one and then work your way up. If you don't feel like level one was enough of a challenge, then you simply move up to level two or three. There may even be some exercises that you need a level one while other exercises you can do a level three. The best thing about the program is that you can customize it to your specific needs. If you haven't checked out Revolt yet, I urge you to hop on over HERE and have a look around.

Revolt Blogger ~ Week 9 ~ A Few Meals During Your Revolt Journey
So I have realized that I haven't shared any meals with you from the Revolt plan.
So that's what I want to do today.
This week I will share a few meals that you will eat during your Detox week.
(Please note, I am not sharing the recipes. You need to join Revolt to get those :D silly)
So when you start out you will eat a LOT of egg whites,
seriously I had never eaten so many before in my life.
The girls in the community came up with a very yummy way to enjoy your egg whites.
I had just been scrambling them up, until I saw the recipe for the Egg White/Banana Omelet.
And lunch would look something like this Spinach Salad (with carrots and tomatoes)
For the Balsamic Vinaigrette I mixed a packet of the Good Seasons Italian Dressing, then followed the directions with how much oil and vinegar(but I used balsamic instead of white vinegar).
Keep in mind you do get two snacks during the day as well, and after the first week you even get dessert!
Dinner consists of a specific portion of chicken, brussels sprouts, and sweet potatoes.

There is also a huge list of substitutions in case you don't like or can't eat a particular food, so you can customize it more to your liking.
Bottom line is - stick to the plan & do the workouts as Nichole has put together and
You Will See Results!

Revolt Blogger ~ Week 8 ~ How To Get Back On Track When You've Fallen Off? Any Suggestions?
So yes, it is correct...I am having a hard time staying on track with
this or any diet/fitness plan to be exact. The support of the Revolt community is amazing, but I guess
that would be where my problem falls, because I haven't been on facebook as much as I was when
I first started Revolt. There are so many emails flooding my inbox currently, from every time anyone posts anything on the private fb page, to companies for giveaways, and then comments posted to my blog. It's so hard to keep up with everything at the moment, that on top of taking care of my toddlers (2 & 3 yrs old), then doing homework (with my 8 yr old), then taking my soon to be high school student to a few meetings at the new school for next year and trying to plan & juggle with how jammed packed our summer is going to be with all of his practices and such. PLUS keeping up with the house chores, dishes, cooking, and not to forget loads & loads of laundry.
With all of that I have struggled to keep up with the plan this past week, not to mention there have been some technical issues as Revolt is changing to a new & improved website which just adds to
the confusion for me personally.
I guess I just need a swift kick in the rear, but honestly I'd love to get some feedback on what you do to get back on track with a diet or fitness routine when you have fallen into a rut & trying to juggle everything.
Thanks so much!

Guest Blogger - Get the Kids Involved and Having Fun With House Cleaning
Good afternoon! Since I have been doing quite a bit of spring cleaning and purging items that are just taking up space, I thought it would be nice to have a post about getting the kids to help out too.
So today I'd like to welcome Jenny Wilson from CleverCleaningTips who is going to share some simple tips to get the kids in on the action and by making it fun at the same time.
"It’s a dream shared by moms and dads all around the world. We all want our kids to play a part in the house cleaning, not just to alleviate our burden but also to help them develop good habits and a sense of discipline. But with all the whining, face-making, and incessant complaining that often accompanies doing the chores, you often wonder if it’s really worth it. You begin to ask yourself if it would be easier just to do everything yourself. Absolutely not! Cleaning the house should be an activity for the whole family. The trick is to know how to motivate and incentivize them.
For the younger kids, try turning cleaning into a game. It’s an old trick but can be very effective. And making cleaning fun at an early age will help prevent bad attitudes as they get older. Try sticking some dusting cloths on the feet of that four-year-old boy who loves sliding down the hallway. Does your daughter love colors? Have her color code the laundry, and then show her how to make separate piles that you can easily sort on laundry day. For the kitchen, set a timer on the microwave and assign quadrants. Whoever finishes theirs the fastest gets a week off from dinner clean-up. For older kids, prizes tend to be a pretty good incentive. And think outside the money box. Maybe they’re not quite old enough but have been dying to go see a certain R-rated movie. If they pick up their room this week with zero complaining, and with a smile on their face, maybe they can have the privilege of watching that movie. Don’t be afraid to bargain. You’ll have a happier, cleaner household in the process. And don’t be afraid to reward everyone for diligent cleaning with a trip to get some delicious fro-yo at the end of the week. Most of the time, you’d be hard-pressed to find “fun” and “chore” in the same sentence, but with a little creativity and a willingness to bargain, you can find all kinds of ways for motivating the family to pitch in.
About the Author: Jenny Wilson is a full time mom and blogger who loves keeping her home clean and green. Jenny draws on her former home cleaning experience to share expert cleaning advice on her blog, CleverCleaningTips. You can also find her being social over on Google+.

OK, so there ya have it, some easy ways to have your kiddos help pitch in with the chores. Thanks Jenny for guest posting.
So what kinds of chores do you have your children do and what ages? I'd love to hear about them.
Much love

Simplify Life ~ How to Detangle Doll Hair
and before you can say to your daughter,"Pick up all of those little Barbie pieces,
shoes, combs...etc", you notice the massive mop atop Barbie's head. Looks like she had a rough night
of partying or something. Sydney has brought me numerous dolls, asking me to help get the knots out, but
if you have ever combed/brushed synthetic hair, you know it is nothing like human hair.
So I started asking around & one of my friends told me about this nifty little trick that works
AmAzInGly!! Thanks Jenn!
Grab your dollies & lets help Barbie bring her sexy back.
(haha I can't believe I just wrote that! lol)
You Will Need
spray bottle
wide toothed comb (or really any comb or brush should do)
fabric softener-liquid
(which I grabbed a bottle at the dollar store, because if it didn't work, then I was only out $1)
doll(s) with tangled, messy hair
OK this is super simple trust me, it's a no brainer.
Put some liquid fabric softener into a small spray bottle, I grabbed the one I use with water when giving haircuts to the fam. I added a little water(like I turned the faucet on then immediately back off), so it was really just a splash. Honestly, I think you can skip this step, I just didn't know, so I was experimenting. It worked perfectly, so there was no need to try anything different. So you hold the spray bottle about 5 inches away from the doll & lightly spritz. You do not need to saturate the hair, just dampen it. Then comb through. I combed the same way I do my daughters(& my) hair, by starting at the bottom & brush to the ends, then go up a little from when I started before & comb to the ends, and continue this until you are at the top of the head & can brush through all the way to the ends without a snag. If the comb skips or snags(sorry don't know the correct term) then give it a spritz of the liquid fabric softener. Now you can style as desired & let air dry.
How simple is that?!?
I love this for the dolls because now they can have nice, smooth hair again.
Please feel free to pin this, & comment below if you try this~ I'd love to hear how you like it!
Thanks for reading!

Revolt Blogger ~ Week 6 ~ Regrowing Your Lettuce Hearts
So a couple of weeks ago one of the women in the private Revolt Fb group
posted a tip that you could regrow your own romaine lettuce. I thought it sounded so cool,
especially since I'm not much of a green thumb.
So basically when you get to the end of your romaine heart, you put it in a dish with about an inch of water, which you change out the water every day. You can read more about it from someone who is well into growing their own romaine here. There are pictures showing how fast it grows on there too.
They say that you can do the same with celery and green onions too.....
so I thought hmm, I wonder if it would work for the red leaf lettuce I had just separated from the heart?
So cool! I know it's not much, but it's a start, plus it'll save me a little cash too once I get a few more going. I have a new pack of romaine I'm excited to use so I can start those too, and hey why stop there? I'm going to have to try the celery, and other varieties of lettuce and stalk type vegetables
too. How fun.
Have you ever tried to regrow from a stalk or end of a vegetable? If so, what was it
& did you have success?
Oh and if you haven't checked out Revolt Now Fitness yet,
what are you waiting for. This week starts the 1st week in the next 6 week uprising, called Revolt 2.0.
Nichole Huntsman continues to improve the program and let me tell you, these next 6 weeks are going to be amazing! I am ready to shape up and I will be sharing my progress with you too.

Revolt Blogger ~ Week 5 ~ Some Important Tools You Will Need Before You Get Started
OK, so you know I have been doing the Revolt Fitness program
with Nichole Huntsman and as a result I am getting leaner and stronger as a result. Tonight I just want to let you in on some key items you will need to help make
your journey a success!
So before I started, I saw that Nichole recommends a few items to help you measure your progress.
1-a standard scale
2-body fat calipers
3-measuring tape(one that is flexible for circumference measurements)
I thought OK, cool I already have a scale and the measuring tape that should be good enough right?
Well, no. After the second week, I didn't see anymore movement on the scale as I had during the detox week. I saw all of the other (let's call them) Revolters losing body fat and having huge success.
Yes, OK I've had a few slip ups from time to time but I knew in order to stay motivated, I had to get some calipers.
Here's what they look like:
Sorry it's so small but when I enlarge it, it gets all pixelated but you get the idea :)
Anyways, so I went on my search to find a pair of these manual body fat calipers......
I tried GNC,
Vitamin World
Academy Sports
Dick's Sporting Goods
.....but none of them carried any type of fat calipers.
So I ordered a pair off of ebay and after another week went by, and I still had no idea what kind of
lean muscle I was gaining, but more importantly I had no true numbers in how much fat I was losing.
Something I was caught off guard with was the extra expenses of the program, which with a family of six, we really need to budget for certain things.
So when everyone was showing off their HRM(heart rate monitors) and how many calories they were burning, I started looking into purchasing one of those.
The brand most of the Revolters are using is Polar. Before Revolt Fitness, I had not even heard of the brand or even used one for that matter. These Polar HRM have different models, and colors, and prices. It can be very confusing for someone with no real knowledge of these types of fitness tools.
So, again I mention the Revolt private Facebook community. I asked which one I should get & why and the replies were exactly what I needed, honest reviews from people who are in the program.
I narrowed down options I needed/could live without and I decided a mid priced model ft7 which retails for around $100(higher models are $130-$150).
I found this one on Amazon.com but at $89, it was still too steep for me to swing financially.
So I waited, and looked around at some stores, and waited,
and then out of nowhere the price dropped another $20.
So I ordered one, along with this digital body fat/mass caliper from Amazon.
Again, another Revolter mentioned she purchased this model on Amazon the week before
and loved it. She said she got hers for $25, when I looked it was down to $16 so I snagged one of those too. She said it was easy to use and accurate, which is definitely a bonus since people had reported the manual calipers to be hard to figure out. For those of you live in Utah, Nichole has hosted body fat measuring get togethers. That's great to have an expert measure you so you know your numbers are correct, but for me....Georgia is a little far away.
I wouldn't have gone for the digital one because Nichole says they aren't as accurate, but since
there was someone in the group who had used it and said it was, I thought it was better than nothing.
Especially when I still had not received the manual capiler I had ordered a couple of weeks prior.
So I received my Polar ft7 HRM on Friday and my digital caliper should be here by Tuesday.
I am so excited to see the difference in using the correct tools and collecting the combined data to see my true progress!
What is the number one tool you have found to be the most useful in your weight loss journey?
I'd love to hear what has helped you, for me I know seeing the progress will certainly help me stay on track and motivated.
Much Love

Also I am a little behind on my posts, so you're gonna get two back to back tonight!
Enjoy!
